After spending ages looking for a wedding hair stylist and makeup artist, I had resolved that I wasn't going to have one, as I didn't see many final looks I liked and it was appearing that the price for my 9 bridesmaids and me would be astronomical. Then I found Alia. From the beginning, she was absolutely a breath of fresh air. She worked with me to achieve exactly the looks I wanted for my bridesmaids and myself, translating my concepts into styles and looks that held beautifully throughout the day. Everyone was so happy with their hair, and I was over the moon with my hair and makeup. Even having had a dreaded wedding week breakout, she made me look just like I dreamed I would, and even taught me a few tips I still use. We had some pretty specific requirements on the day, and Alia handled all of them with such skill, and always with a reassuring smile. She even managed to fit in a time to do my 90 year old Nana's hair, who decided that she'd like hers done as well! I was still sorting out last minute things on the morning of our wedding, and for me the relaxation and enjoyment of my wedding day really started when Alia began doing my hair. I cannot fault her in any way - she worked from the very beginning, tirelessly to ensure the cast were made to feel beautiful

As something of a makeup novice, this was wonderful, and I really felt like I was learning about which products to use and how to use them. I had my make up done for my graduation, after consultation about the look I wanted Alia-Michelle applied it to my exacting specification. This included false eyelashes, eye shadows and lipstick as well as an array of extras to suit my taste.
